2021 Hair Color Ideas for African American Women

2021 Hair Color Ideas for African American Women
2021 Hair Color Ideas for African American Women| Meetu Hair

You've probably clicked on this blog because you're trying to find out the right hair color to bring out your beauty and make you look glamorous. In this blog, we're going to talking about the color ideas for African American women.
Do you have a beautiful dark complexion in no idea which color you should choose for your lace wig? There are many different strokes for different folks. Many of you might already know that the choice of hair color depends on various factors. Skin tone is one crucial factor, but that is not all about choosing the right hair color. It also depends on many other factors, such as skin undertones, the color of eyes, hair texture, etc. Continue reading this blog to find out the right color for your skin tone.
Browns are the best option for African American women. Sometimes black and some shades of blonde also look good.
For dark skin tones, like milk chocolate or dark chocolate skin tone, we recommend choosing dark or medium light brown burgundy or jet-black hair colors. These colors will not only complement your skin tone but will also warm up your features without drawing attention to your hair in an undesirable manner.
Opting for vibrant reds, pinks, purples, blues, or whichever other clown colors you are thinking about is a strict no-no, especially for work. Not only are they shoddy in appearance, but they give off an unprofessional vibe where no one will take you seriously. But we can use these colors for some special activities.
Bright blonde shades like dirty blonde or platinum are not advisable either. Subtle highlights or an ombre finish, the teeniest hint of blond can add a pleasing look to your tresses without seeming overdone.
For pinkish-brown or light brown skin tones, dirty blonde, a roundish red light or dark brown brownish red and plain black work well. Highlights are a fun option, too, so don't be afraid to mix and match varied hues. Warm tones of these shades will soften your facial features and give you the perfect coverage before your original roots begin to show. The most fun part of people who have this skin type can experiment with almost every hair color that we can find on the supermarket aisles.
Choosing a suitable color hair wig is a tricky business, but it will be like a cakewalk once you get the hang of it. However, getting professional help while trying it for the first time is highly advisable. So don't be afraid to experiment with colors while keeping it subtle at the same time, and yeah, keep rocking and have fun.
Now that we are covered all the ideal color options, do you want to try a new color wig? If you have no idea about your first try, we think the highlights wig is a good choice for you. Meetu Hair supplies high-quality highlights wigs. Visit www.meetuhair.com to get more information.

Do we have to bleach knots on the HD lace wig?

Hey everyone! This is Meetu Hair. We have found that some wig wearers are wondering whether we have to bleach knots on the HD lace wig or not? Our advice is if you're looking for a more natural look, then without a doubt that you would better blench it.

Meetu Hair will share with you all the methods of removing the obvious black dots in HD lace frontals and closures. Nobody wants to put makeup on their part every day, so read this article to find out how we can confidently say, "What lace !?"

Do we have to bleach knots on the HD lace wig
Do we have to bleach knots on the HD lace wig| Meetu Hair

How to bleach knots on the HD lace wig?

Things we need: Bleaching powder, a cream developer, a mixing bowl, an applicator brush, shampoo and conditioner, a spray bottle, gloves, and t-pins are optional, depending on if we're going to use a mannequin head.

Step1:The first thing we're going to do is put a couple of scoops of the bleaching powder into the bowl. Next, we're going to mix in the cream developer and stir it all together, and what we are looking for is a consistency that will match that of yogurt. Use more or less depending on how big or small the area we're working.

Step2: Spray water along the hairline, which can help get rid of any flyaways. In that way, when we are bleaching the lace, none of the bleach accidentally gets on the hair.

Step3: If it is a wig and not just a closure, it would be pretty hard to lay it flat down to bleach the lace. Turning it inside out and pin it to the mannequin head is a good choice. We can adequately see what we are doing when we begin bleaching the lace.

Step4: We can apply the bleach to the lace when we have a clear view of the area working. Just use the applicator brush to gently applying the blench to the lace area. Please be careful do not to press roughly on the lace. It would end up when pressing through and getting on the hair, and then the roots of the hair get bleached.

In addition, the HD lace is super thin. We should clarify that we do not need to leave the bleach on for as long. We would probably do about 30 minutes for the normal lace, but as for the HD lace, 10-15 minutes for bleach to process is enough.

Step 5: We need to wash the lace wig after bleaching, and we will see how it's the natural look when we wash it out. When we rinse the blench out with water, maybe it has a bit of a brassy orange tint to it, so that's where the purple shampoo comes in. That's just going to take away some of that orange tint, so let's get that sorted.

Step 6: Let the hair air dry after washing, and when it's bone dry, we will be pretty happy with the natural look with the HD lace wig. The HD lace is thin and transparent, so once those black dots are taken care of, it will be a seamless finish.

That's all for this guide. We hope you will find this helpful. Visit www.meetuhair.com to get more information and order high-quality HD lace wigs.

What's the difference between wigs and weaves?

Nowadays, people are facing too many choices of hair extensions. With no idea for which one to choose, wigs and weaves? This is a matter of preference and conditions. Wigs and weaves are similar, but they have their feature and serve different purposes. Therefore, we need to learn the difference between them before purchasing to determine which one best meets our needs.

What's the difference between wigs and weaves

About wig

A wig is a head or hair accessory made from human hair or synthetic fiber. It consists of a wig cap with hair attached. In short, a wig is like a hat made from hair, so we can put it on and take it off quickly.

About weave

A weave is braided hair sewn down with the hair weft extensions sewn onto the braids. We need to sew the hair weaves into a wig before we put it on. And usually, we will use the weave with a lace closure or a lace frontal to get a more natural look.

The difference between wigs and weaves

Wig and weaves are different in many ways. First of all, the wig was already made by the factory. Then, it's ready to wear. When we get the wig, what we need to do is customizing it a little bit to make it look more natural. But the hair weaves are often sold in bundles, so we need to spend time sewing in. This is a task that requires technical skills and usually needs to be completed by a hairstylist.

Which one is best?

As we have said, wigs or weaves, which one chose, are a matter of preference and conditions. But to be honest, we would much recommend to chose a wig. The reasons are as follows.

First of all, it's a whole three-step process to sew in the hair weaves, and it takes a lot of days. Young girls constantly change their hairstyle frequently. So we don't have to go through three hours of having to get the hair done.

Second, it's much easier to wear a wig. No matter is a headband wig or a lace closure wig. We can quickly put it on and take it off. So we can go out within any minutes, and we can take it off before sleeping. So we don't need to worry about the mess up the hair when sleeping.

Third, the lace wig is much breathable, so it will make you feel more comfortable and keep you cool in the hot summer.

Forth, we can change our hairstyle as much as we want with a lace closure wig. But if we chose the weave, we will be stuck with the style.

We hope you all find this helpful article. Visit Meetu Hair to get more information.

Avoid these beginner mistakes when installing the lace wig!

Hi there, this is Meetu Hair. We have found that many wig beginners would make some mistakes when installing the human hair lace wig. So today, we are going to share you with some common beginner's mistakes.

Avoid these beginner mistakes when installing the lace wig
Avoid these beginner mistakes when installing the lace wig| Meetu Hair

1. Not blenching the knots or over blenching

The main mistake that beginners make is not using the right products when bleaching the knots. We would recommend using a 30 developer with bw2 powder, but do not use a 40 developer because that will be too strong and will possibly bleach the roots of the wig and do not use a 20 because it's not strong enough, and you'll probably be waiting for quite some time.

We need to take the brush paint the mixture onto the lace closure but do not apply pressure because it will leak onto the roots. Besides, one of the things that beginners always do is keep the mixture on for too long. Please keep it on for no longer than 7 to 12 minutes. If you keep it on longer, you'll most likely bleach the roots of the lace closure or the frontal.

2. Over plucking or not plucking at all

Some beginners may over-pluck, or skip the plucking process. However, that's important because plucking helps to make it look natural. Therefore, when plucking, go in the same direction and not stay in the same place for too long.

3. Dirty skin/ base not clean

Avoid wearing makeup before installing the lace wig because it might interfere with the products we're going to use, whether it's glue or hairspray. Instead, start with a clean hairline.

4. Not having a flat foundation/ bulky braids/puffy pony

A widespread mistake is not having a very flat foundation. Either put braids underneath your wig or a nice flat ponytail. Mainly blow-dried hair underneath your wig, it will be puffy and look very unnatural

5. Cutting the lace

A lot of people are intimidated by this cutting the lace. But in fact, it's so easy, be confident in yourself. Many beginners usually cut the lace too close to the hairline or too far from the hairline. So we need to find the best medium, not too close, not too far, cut off enough just in case you have to make any mistakes you can go and trim the rest off.

And also, some beginners would make these large zigzag motion types of things when cutting the lace, but we need to make tiny little zigzag motions as we go from one part to the other.

6. Wig placement

Wig placement is critical. Many beginners would put the wig too close to their eyebrows, minimize their forehead, which looks not natural. Or place the wig too far back, and then your forehead looks more extensive than what it may be. On the other hand, we don't want the forehead to look bigger than it is supposed to be. Please put it on our hairline and move it up a couple of centimeters, and it is not directly on your hairline when installing the unit.

7. Installing the unit

When it comes to installing, you can use glue, gel, or hairspray, anything your heart desires. Keep the wig where we placed it in our favorite spots. And if you're using hairspray, do not use a lot, or take your finger and rub it back and forth to avoid the drips. Then, spray as much as we need along the way, hold it down with two fingers, and blow-dry, and make sure to blow dry it until it's dry.

Another thing that beginners do is they tend to move it as it's drying. Please keep it right where it's at, do not move it. It will turn white and flaky.

8. Not securing your wig

Our wig should be secured using a headband or use hairpins. The lace wig will be more secure in this way.

9. Styling your wig

Some beginners feel okay to skip the styling process or style it to do the most basic styling. When saying styling, it means that your hairline in the front looks good. If we're going to add any baby hairs, flatten down your wig, which is mandatory, we cannot skip the step.

10. Not doing minor touch-ups

Many beginners tend to put too much mascara, concealer, foundation, or a super white foundation, and it looks bizarre. We need to use a concealer or foundation that matches our skin to make our part look nice and clear. We can take a little brush to brush the lace but don't put too much because we don't want it to be too wet and look disgusting.

We can also use black mascara to make the wig natural when we see a little bit of bleach gets on the root. When we're outside in the daylight, it doesn't look crazy.

11. Not removing wig properly

Many people will pay much attention to the wig installing but ignore the importance of removing the lace wig properly. In fact, improper removal would cause a significant effect on our natural edges. We can use a wet towel to dab the hairline and gently peel it off.

Meetu Hair hopes this blog will be helpful if you are a wig beginner. Visit www.meetuhair.com to order a cheap lace wig and get more information.

Tips for Creating the Most Natural Look

Hi everyone, this is Meetu Hair. Everyone wants anything that will make the human hair wig look better with less effort. If you do, you cannot miss Swiss Lace!

Tips for creating the most natural-look
Tips for creating the most natural look | Meetu Hair

Characteristic of the Swiss lace wig

First of all, Meetu Hair will show you how Swiss lace is different from other lace. Swiss lace is lighter than the regular lace and the transparent lace, and it also has a color that is easy to blend with various complexions. Through investigation, we found that most people have a pretty decent experience with Swiss lace. Of course, not all Swiss lace is equal, even if it has the same name. Every company is different. Meetu Hair promises to provide you with high-quality Swiss lace, which can be blended ideally with your skin tone, no matter brown or lighter skin.

The Swiss lace wig is one of the most popular and recommends wig for its superior advantage in camouflage. Swiss lace is very similar to French lace, but the only difference is Swiss lace is thinner and has larger holes. So Swiss lace is more fragile than French lace, but it is also more invisible. If you want a very realistic hairline, Swiss lace is an excellent choice, especially for frequent lace wig wearers, and can be used for everyday wear as long as treating the wig with tender loving care.

We don't suggest choosing a wig that the whole base material was made from Swiss lace because it's too delicate. And it will be more challenging to maintain. But don't worry, although Swiss lace is fragile, the Swiss lace front wig is strong enough for daily use if handled carefully.

Matters need attention to wearing Swiss lace wig

The Swiss lace wig is more invisible, but it's also more delicate and far more prone to wear and tear. If you are a wig beginner and this is your first wig to purchase, we recommend buying a transparent lace wig instead of a Swiss lace wig. The transparent lace is thicker and more durable. It will be much friendly to wig beginners. After you have worn a few transparent lace wig, you will be confident in lace wig application, removal routine, and experience at proper care of a lace front wig. Then you can have a try for the Swiss lace wig at that moment.

It's almost summer, and it's hot outside, and the Swiss lace is perfect for this season according to the characteristic of the lace. If you want to have a try, please visit Meetu Hair online store www.meetuhair.com.

How to Apply Wig Slightly Behind Natural Hairline?

Hi there, this is Meetu Hair. Are you getting tired of having to glue the frontal down in the front and doing that whole thing? Today, we will do a tutorial on leaving the front baby hair out with our natural hair. If you have a perfectly natural hairline, exposing your actual hairline will give you a more realistic look.

How to Apply Wig Slightly Behind Natural Hairline?

Step 1: blench knots will give us a more natural look, so it's best to blench the knot. It is also an optional step if you don't like, or you don't want to damage your human hair wig by blenching, and you can use the other method to deal with these tiny knots.

Step 2: a flat base is significant. As usual, we need to tie up our natural hair first before putting on the lace wig. And then we put on the wig cap and a wig grip on top of the wig cap.

Step 3: pull out just a tiny bit of the hair in the front so that we can use our natural hairline. So once we had the hair that we were going to use out, we need to iron our hair lightly with flat irons. Don't forget to spray some protectants before perm to protect your hair from damage.

Step 4: take the wig cap off and use the got 2B spray on the front because it does have a stronger hold, take the wig cap and press it into the got 2B glue, leaving just a little bit of it out, so we can have enough room of it, so that lace part of the wig can stick to it.

Step 5: blow dry it a bit to get it nice and tacky, and to make sure the cap is actually like sticking to our hair and that it's sticky enough for the lace to stick to our hair if that makes sense.

Step 6: press the wig into place and using the end of a rat tail comb in the blow-dryer to kind of set it and make sure it's bone dry and it's not going to budge.

Step 7: once the lace front wig is dry and in place, added a little of the foundation powder along the trace over the actual parking area of row scalp and kind of blend that into the parting area of the wig and then take an edge control to silk the edges back.

Step 8: Lastly, take a little bit of the foam to warm our hair. In that way, we can get a nice part and then take a comb to get the parting line as straight as possible.

This is pretty much it for this blog. If you wonder where to buy cheap human hair wigs or human hair bundles in Meetu Hair or any further questions, please visit www.meetuhair.com.

Tips on installing the T part wig

As the T part wig is new to the hair market, maybe someone is still not familiar with installing the T part wig. Meetu Hair will share you with some tips on installing the T part wig.

Tips on installing the T part wig
Tips on installing the T part wig| Meetu Hair

Foundation color

When putting the foundation on the lace, we always use the same foundation color as our face complexion, so Meetu Hair recommends using the same product that we use on our face. We don't want to go too dark because if we go too dark, the lace will sit on top of your head, and if we go to the light, the lace will show super bright. Tap the foundation above the hairline, and keep in mind to get your right complexion color because if you do have the wrong complexion color, it will be a little weird.

Cutting the lace

In front of the T part lace wig, a piece of lace covers the entire forehead. We recommend using the scissors to cut the extra lace off but not using the whole scissor method. Cut the lace as close as possible to the hairline to create an irregular curved line, do not cut it straight across your forehead, which will make you look a little bit funny because nobody's natural hairline is straight across.

Wet installing

The lace blend better when the lace is wet, but if you are already put your makeup on and then put on the T part lace, it may ruin your makeup, so a quick tip is to cut the lace a bit shorter that won't mess up your face.

Applying glue

If you want to glue the T part wig down, applying two layers of glue will make it more secure. Do the middle center part first and then the two sides. When it's still a little bit wet, put down the lace. Please don't touch the glue with your fingers when placing the glue adhesive. That will cause it to leave a trace on your hairline, which makes it look unnatural.

So there are all the tips on installing the T part wig. We hope this blog can help you lay down a T part lace wig well. Thanks for your reading. Buy affordable human hair T part wigs in Meetu Hair, contact us to get a surprise coupon.

Why is T part wig perfect for wig beginners?

As we all know, the T part wig is a new trend, and as lots of people said, it's a beginner's friendly wig. Do you know why the T part wig is perfect for beginners? If you are interested in the T part wig, don't miss this article!

Why is T part wig perfect for wig beginners?

About T part wig

If you don't know what a T part lace wig is, then the difference between a T part wig and a regular wig is that it already has a pre part in the middle, so a T part wig is not a free part wig. You won't be able to part in anywhere you want. In general, the T part wig has a 13 inches lace cover the forehead from ear to ear and a 4 inches or 6 inches depth lace in the middle, so that's why it is called the T part wig.

Through investigation and research, we found that beginner-friendly wigs have the same characteristics as follows, easy to wear, no need for too much customization, easy to maintain, etc. So let's take a look at the feature of the human hair T part wig

Characteristic of T part wig

Easy to install

We will find that the T part wig is easy to install by only looking at its wig cap structure. There are combs inside the wig cap that we can insert into our natural hair to secure the human hair wig. And it also has a little drawstring, and we can adjust it to match our head size so that it won't slide off. We are free to choose how to install the T part wig. We can glue it down to make it more secure if we want to do strenuous outdoor activities. But we can choose to wear it without glue, so it's very convenient to wear it, and it is also friendly to people who are allergic to glue.

Less customization

Since the T part wig is different from the lace front wig and full lace wig, it has less lace area in the wig cap and has a pre part in the middle, so it will save our time on blenching the knots and making the parting line.

Pre-plucked with natural hairline

A pre-plucked hair wig means that the wig comes with a natural hairline, where the baby hairs are already plucked. When we take it out of the box, we don't even need to tweeze to create a natural hairline. But if you do want to, you can also pluck a bit to create a more realistic hairline.

Easy to maintain

One of the nice things about the T part wig is that it doesn't require special care. And if you order a high-quality human hair T part wig from Meetu Hair, it will save you a lot of time on wig maintenance.

Thanks for reading, and we hope this article is helpful to you. If you want to buy high-quality T Part wigs, please visit Meetu Hair to find your favorite hair wig.

Easy way to make T part wig look like a lace front wig

It's better to deep condition the human hair T part wig before wearing it. Besides, if you want to keep the natural look of the hair, you can add a little bit of mousse or even a little leave-in condition. But of course, every wig-install starts with styling and melting in the lace in the front.

When it comes to the glueless install, which only requires you to remove the excess lace around the entire front, don't forget to cut out any extra lace around the ears. First of all, pick out our glue adhesive of choice, make a nice thin layer across the front of our forehead, clean up any extra that doesn't belong, then apply the lace on top. After that, we will blow dry the glue.

Now that the wig is bonded down. Go ahead and make it look as flat and smooth as possible. We are sure that you already know the dynamic duo for this step. Pair a wax with the electric hot comb on the highest heat setting and do as many heats passes and take our time and make sure that it is super smooth.

A lot of people think this is overkill, but honestly like as you're doing it, it feels like you're just doing the same thing over and over. When it's all said and done, you'll see how huge a difference it makes when you press that hair out and have it look melted, even in the front.

We think this one will look great behind the ears, mainly because the hairline is not the best. You can have a little bit of baby hair peeking from the front, which will make a huge difference and gives a little bit more of a frontal vibe. And then, you'll be able to put the rest behind your ear, and it looks super flat and sleek, and it also still looks like a salon-quality install.

We recommend adding the elastic band to lay down your hairline because when you add that elastic band around and let it sit for at least a good 10 to 15 minutes, it always just looks so much more melted and smooth. When the baby hair is done, add the concealer or the powder to the parting and along the hairline. And then you can see how the powder kind of camouflages the hairline to make it not look so thick, all of it is finesse.

Water Wave hair headband wig- Easy Summer wig!

Water Wave hair headband wig- Easy Summer wig

Water wave hair is perfect for the summertime, and it's also one of the hottest selling hairstyles in Meetu Hair in summer. The water wave curls are proud and pretty; the curl pattern of the ends is full and thick, so this is not a thin water wave hair wig.
The best is the cap structure of this wig. It is constructed with four combs, one at the top, two near the ear, and one near the back, and it has two adjustable straps and a velcro headband. So these headband wigs are super easy to install. You don't even have to braid your hair back, but just doing your natural hair in a simple slick back ponytail. But it is best to have anchor braids, at least on the side, to avoid and cut down on the combs grabbing your hair and snatching it out. We do recommend having anchor braids on the side to protect your hair and your edges. If you want, you can wear this headband wig right up against your edges, but if you're really in a hurry and don't even have time to do your baby hair.
The water wave hair is pretty easy to brush, especially when it is wet and has mousse. So these curls are buttery soft; in addition, this wave pattern perfect for the summertime. Thus, we need to brush this unit from the bottom to the top just because of the curl pattern of the water wave hair, and you don't want to cause any tangles. This hair will get a lot bigger as it dries; it's a beautiful water wave texture. It's not tightly curled at all; it's more like a Spanish wave texture.
The water wave headband wigs are of good quality, there are no short hairs, and the capsize is superb. There is an adjustable band so that it can fit any head size. It can fit perfectly to a small head, but this is also medium head friendly to a large head, especially if you're wearing it pretty far back. Even if you have a larger head, I'm pretty sure it would fit, especially if you're wearing it far back.
It's effortless to install the water wave headband wig. These headband wigs have made it so much easier for girls, especially in the summertime. If you go out to the grocery store and you want to look cute, this is the easy way you don't even have to add a decorative headband if you don't want to. In addition, we can do different styles with the water wave texture; we can choose to wear it dry or wet with this wave pattern.

Step1: First of all, we need to section some parts of the hair and detangle the hair with a wide-tooth comb or a Denman brush. Please remember to start combing the hair from the bottom and working the way up to the top, which would reduce your hair shedding.
Step2: Since the hair is too dry, we need to spray the water on the hair. We can get some hair clips to separate the hair so that we can function better. Our needs are to make it damp but not so wet. After spraying the water on the hair, you will see that the curls are coming back by themselves. Continue doing that until you feel the waves are like the water wave hair is regular curls.
Step3: We also need to put some leave-in condition, get a good amount of conditioner, and moisturize the hair. And start again brush the hair, starting from the bottom, working the way up to the top with the detangling brush, which will help bring the curls back.
Step4: If you also want to add some tea tree oil back to the water wave hair, the oil also helps the hair not to be so dry. Once the hair is completely dried, sometimes the curls staying like this, and it's going to get a little bit bigger, but we should still be able to manage the hair.

How To Define Curls On Water Wave Hair?

The water wave hair curls will become undefined as time goes on. Today, Meetu Hair will share how to define water wave curls, to get them back to their original curls pattern without getting frizzy.

How To Define Curls On Water Wave Hair

Step 1: In fact, we don't need to do a lot to get juicy curls on water wave hair. First of all, we need to use some eco styler and a toothbrush to fix the part, to brush it up to make everything neater, because sometimes, like when we're sleeping, the hair gets all over the place. So make sure that that part of the hair is nice and defined because we want to make our wigs look as natural as possible.
Step 2: Then, take a spray bottle and spray the water wave hair to get it damp enough to put a brush through. Ensure that all the strands are wet but not super wet if you don't want dripping wet hair. Then brush it out with a large paddle brush, and we would recommend focusing on the ends because the tip of the hair is where all the frizziness starts to come into play, so make sure you get the ends.
Step 3: So after the hair is nice and damp and all the way through, the next is going to be a foaming wrap lotion. We need to use a generous amount on our hands, take it from the top of the hair, and go throughout every strand, so this is what looks in the wet look, making our hair stay glossy and doesn't get frizzy throughout the day. Put a little bit more at the end and concentrating some in the front because sometimes this hair does get frizzy in the front.
The essential part of maintaining bundles or human hair wigs or anything like that is treating it like we treat our hair. When it gets caked up or things like that, it just has too much product build-up, so we should wash it, deep condition it, and this hair is going to last you as long as it should and even past how long you think it should.
Step 4: To make sure that the ends of the hair don't get frizzy. We would recommend adding some gel at the hair ends, but it doesn't need to put on the whole head because it is a little bit heavier. Please put it on the ends and then comb it out, and this keeps those curls at the bottom, keeps them nice and elongated, and that's what we want, and we don't want to shrink up and get frizzy. So it keeps the curls like it keeps the ends of your wig looking nice and juicy.

Step 5: We can put a little bit of the bio silk soap on the hair to the water wave hair for a little extra oomph and extra shine, which helps shine last all day. And then, if you're a person who hates flyaways, you can apply wax on the hair that helps everything just lay nice and flat.
